The singer posted a partially redacted letter that contained notes on over 30 scenes that censors found to be overtly violent or sexual. One explicit scene between two women had to be covered for the video to even be aired at all, while several segments -- which feature stabbings and bondage -- can only be aired after certain times at night.
This version of 'Hurricane' has already been edited down from a more explicit version, Leto told Entertainment Weekly, and they do hope to post the uncut video online at some point. "That's a great opportunity, and we're going to take full advantage of that," he said.
