"I am beyond honoured to be hosting this monumental Juno Awards in the greatest city on Earth," said Drake in a press release issued this morning. "I want to bring a youthful energy to the show and encourage people to be excited about what Canadian music has to offer."
Drake -- whose real name is Aubrey Graham -- won his first two Junos last spring, taking awards for best new artist and rap recording of the year. He also performed alongside fellow Canadian superstar Justin Bieber at the awards in St. John's, Newfoundland.
The hosting announcement came hours before the former 'Degrassi' star received four 2011 Grammy nominations for his album 'Thank Me Later.' He's up for best new artist, best rap album, best rap solo performance and best rap performance by a duo or group. Released in June, his debut album has gone platinum in Canada and the US.
The Junos will take place March 27 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
