Additionally, a show at the IZOD Center, just across the New Jersey border in East Rutherford, has been rescheduled from Dec. 14 to Dec. 15 instead. Ticket holders will receive an email, automatically assigning them a new seat on the rescheduled date. Additional options, including a full refund, are also available.
This short run of just five dates -- all at the above two, nearby venues -- are being billed as the 'Welcome 2 America' tour. At a press conference announcing the tour back in October, Prince warned audiences to "bring foot spray -- because it's going to be funky."
He's not kidding. Special guests at these shows are likely to include Cassandra Wilson, Maceo Parker, Esperanza Spalding and more, with no two shows being the same. But good luck getting tickets to even just one.
