Sarah Jaffe Celebrates Hanukkah, Tour Style -- Road Report

Sarah Jaffe is currently on the road with Ben Weaver in support of her debut album, 'Suburban Nature,' which features the mesmerizing singer-songwriter's latest single, 'Clementine.' Jaffe is trekking from Pittsburgh, Pa. to Columbus, Ohio over the next week, joined by Robert Gomez (guitar, accordion, drums) and Scott Danbom on piano.

In her third entry, the Texas native enjoys a day off before hitting one of her favorite cities, New York. She also gets into the holiday season and preps for a Philadelphia must-have. Check out photos from her Northeast dates in Jaffe's new Road Report after the jump.

Day off today. Believe it or not ... we're driving. New York shows were a blast. Always a delight to play one of my favorite US cities. The Living Room Friday night and The Rock Shop Saturday. There may, or may not, have been too much alcohol involved post shows.

We left pretty early Sunday morning to play Cambridge at T.T. the Bears. Was a beautiful night. A very fun, sweet-spirited crowd. Wonderfully warm set by my tourmate, Ben Weaver. Before the show, I watched my bandmaties, Robert and Scott, eat some delicious food at The Middle East (next door to the venue) while I sipped on some champagne.

We are on the road now, with a day off of to drive. Taking our time. Next stop: PHILLY. Playing the M Room. It'll be my first time playing Philly. It will also be my first time having a REAL PHILLY cheesesteak. I'll report back on that.
