Riley produced three of the tracks on the upcoming 'Michael' album -- a release that has been mired in controversy amidst accusation from members of Jackson's immediate family that the vocals are not authentic. Others, meanwhile, have spoken out about the very idea of releasing material that Jackson may have felt wasn't ready for public consumption. Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am -- who collaborated with Jackson -- even told the Associated Press that he thinks releasing the album is "disrespectful."
Riley countered the arguments by saying, "We will not do anything with bad character and it will be him ... no one could ever duplicate Michael." The opposition, of course, is concerned with the same thing.
