Complacency is the problem when Governments get to much power and laws are passed without long term thinking. We have Politicians not Statesmen running things. Short term thinkers thinking about what corporate board will they be appointed to after their term in office. WE in North America have created a LEGAL system not a JUSTICE system so we have rampant crime and NO moral compass. Under the auspices of freedom of the individual we have essentially enslaved ourselves to walk a detrimental path of WAR, dictatorial administrations, public and private security firms, the destruction of the family causing horrendous rips and tears in the fabric of society all with enormous costs. Video cameras on every corner. Sounds like a prison to me. Just missing the bars. Walls street and Bay street corruption helped by lobbying corrupt legislators and supposedly elected government officials. Corporations don't have a conscience or a moral code even though they like to publish their code of conduct and ethics on their fancy expensive web sites. ARE WE ALL REALLY THAT NAIVE? NO we are not and I say stand up and call your government representative where ever you live in the world and tell them that we are not going to stand for it any more. A revolution is in order. The silent majority must stand up now and fight for your rights so that the unfortunate soldiers who are memorialized by that monument and all monuments and those who fought for freedom did not die in vain but will live forever through the heroic acts of you you and you and me. DO NOT SAY I am only one person what can I do. A raging fire can be created by a single spark. Ignite it now before it is too late and you too are marched to the gallows by armed soldiers because someone decides they don't like the way you look or think or believe the same way as they do. I proud of these young people..these young people have every right to be MAD. Raising a tuition so teacher can be over paid just is wrong Schools there as well as here are pricing the poor out of an education. I believe its the wealthy agenda to keep the poor uneducated and poor and working for minimum wage that never increase with the cost of living.

I agree with the great divide between rich and poor there will be more protest and a lot more civil disobedient.America could take a lesson from these young people. Certainly our youth could.

That is what is wron with freebies. Sooner or later you run out of other peoples money so you have to protest that your free ride is over. If someone wants an education fine but they should find a way to pay for it. They would appreciate it more. Entitlements just weaken the spirit. I got loans. I washed pots and pans. I worked landscaping to pay my way. Costs go up every year. It just isnt the salaries of Profs. Just running the institution cost money. There are bills to pay and there are employees to pay to run the facility. Pampered spoiled brats is what they are.

Just saw Roger Waters perform "The Wall" in Floida. Great show but jeez the politics are just plain stinko. The whole time he's up there bashing corporations and everything else under the sun all the while getting upwards of $125 a ticket. Who does he think he's kidding?
