What's That Song From the Expedia Commercial?

'Walking the Dog,' Fun
A businessman uses his two hands to manipulate travel plans to the twang of 'Walking the Dog,' by Fun, in this new Expedia commercial. The song carries a happy tune and is used to present the work of planning a trip as -- appropriately -- fun.
'Walking the Dog' largely provides the background to the ad spot, which promotes Expedia's ability to book on one airline flying out and on another traveling back. The ad is simple and entertaining, much like Fun's musical image.
Nate Ruess, formerly of the Format, formed Fun alongside Andrew Dost of Anathallo and Jack Antonoff of Steel Train in 2008, and the band bears much similarity to the Format. Ruess' voice adds value to the music in the same way that Craig Finn's does for the Hold Steady: It's enough to define the band's sound but not enough to detract from the music.
'Walking the Dog' can be found on the band's only full-length release, 2008's 'Aim and Ignite.'
