Ex-Paramore Members Dish Dirt on 'Real' Reason They Quit the Band

Guitarist Josh Farro says that he and his brother left the band acrimoniously, tired of fooling themselves into thinking it was a real band when, according to them, it had actually become the solo project of lead singer Hayley Williams, for all intents and purposes. "In reality, what started as natural somehow morphed into a manufactured product of a major label, riding on the coattails of 'Hayley's dream,'" writes Farro, who discloses that things started to further deteriorate after he and Williams "dated and broke up" during the band's 'Riot' era.
The rest of the statement reads almost like a WikiLeak cable, detailing inside power struggles, differences and personnel changes. "The intention of this statement was not to belittle or disgrace the rest of the band," writes Farro. "It was simply to clarify our decision for leaving and our desire to finally tell you guys the truth." The full statement is worth reading.
But wait! It gets juicier. After Paramore's camp questioned the authenticity of the blog entry, Farro posted a video on his personal blogspot page in which the guitarist, somberly, confirms that his and Zach's statements were the real deal.
"I know there are a lot of rumors going around that it wasn't from us. But it is," he says, sighing. "I know that makes some of you happy and some of you unhappy and, uh -- there's not much I can do."

I honestly doubt Hayley Williams would go solo. I am a big fan of Paramore and I know how Hayley Williams is dedicated to the band. She had released a few songs featuring herself with other artists, but I doubt that will lead to anything more. Jeremy, Taylor, and Hayley had just released a new single, and stated that they were planning on releasing a new album in early 2012. If that's the case, I don't think she has plans on going solo. According to interviews, you can tell she is devoted to the band. This gives me a new outlook on the Farro brothers; they should've been as much dedicated to the band as Hayley, Jeremy, and Taylor. Well, to give it a positive outlook, Paramore's still going to be a championship rock band without them. PARAMORE FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they're plently simliar to Paramore. Don't act like the world is coming to an end. Hayley will either replace them, or go solo. Its always been about her anyhow.

Now that was a rap! Paramore will fail. Hayley Williams will make a few more albums with a lessening audience b/c she truly has nothing to say and she is being gamed by the label and her parents.

Sucks that their gone but that's part of getting famous. Hope they find another band that works for them. Great musicians regardless. Paramore will always be my favorite band, with or without them. Hope they land on their feet.

has anyone ever even noticed the other members of paramore? it should be hayley's project, i'd cash checks i made riding her wave. she's the new gwen stefani, no one cares about the other members of no doubt. the band is defined by the frontman.
