Lily Allen Engaged to Sam Cooper

As the Daily Mail reports, 32-year-old Cooper, a decorator, proposed to the 25-year-old singer while they were vacationing in Bali. He popped the question on a balcony overlooking the ocean.
In August, the couple had announced they were expecting a child but in October, Allen suffered a miscarriage -- her second in three years.
"It all came out of the blue -- but Lily was overwhelmed and they are both overjoyed," a source told the newspaper. "Lily was telling everyone that she and Sam had just got engaged [and] they could not keep the smiles off their faces. It couldn't have been more romantic. The resort is just so peaceful and picturesque."
Allen hinted at the engagement in a Dec. 19 Twitter dispatch. "I'm on holiday. Thank the Lord. X," she wrote and later added, "Happy Holidays everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx." The couple first started dating in the summer of 2009.
