Last week, singer Agnetha Fältskog said in an interview she would consider getting back together with her three former bandmates -- at least for one-off gigs. When the bet was offered on Tuesday (4 January), the bookies' spokesman Rupert Adams said in a statement, "ABBA fans should be very excited. We are now the same price for an ABBA reunion as we were for Take That in January last year and we all know that Robbie is back."
So far, William Hill's original odds have yet to change, but two other bets have seen much stronger action. Odds that ABBA will play a London gig in 2011 have fallen from 20/1 to evens -- originally, the firm offered 100/1.
Adams told AOL Music his company had accepted a £100 bet at those odds for the group to play Prince William and Kate Middleton's spring wedding. Meanwhile, odds for ABBA to enjoy a UK No. 1 album this year have slumped from 20/1 to 5/1.
