Phish's Mike Gordon Asks Fans to Send Him Solo Tour Ideas...Via ESP

Not to be outdone by his bandmate Trey Anastasio, who just announced a winter solo tour last week, Phish bassist Mike Gordon is heading out on the road in March for a 17-date trek that will begin on March 4 in Eugene, Ore. and end in Gordon's hometown of Burlington, Vt. on March 26. For this outing, Gordon will keep the roster he's been touring with for the past few years, including Max Creek's Scott Murawski on guitar.

The tour is technically in support of Gordon's most recent solo release, 'Moss,' although setlists will vary greatly and wildly from night to night, as is par for the course with most things Phish related. And on that note, fans can also expect lots of jamming.

Always one for experimentation on all levels, Gordon tweeted to his fans on Tuesday, following the tour announcement, that any fans with "subconscious or conscious ideas or excitement about the March fun" should try sending them to him using ESP (extrasensory perception) at precisely 2PM ET on Tuesday. "I will meditate and c if I can channel what u r saying," he tweeted. No word on how that went, exactly, but you can find out the dates through a magic trick in the below video.
