A statement on Razorlight's official website reads, "We can officially confirm that founder members Bjorn Agren [guitar] and Carl Dalemo [bass] agreed on an amicable parting following unproductive early recording sessions for a new album late last year."
Replacing the two are Gus Robertson on guitar and Freddie Stitz on bass. They join drummer David "Skully" Sullivan Kaplan, who took over after Andy Burrows left, and of course singer Johnny Borrell.
According to the statement the quartet is "set to headline a series of major shows across the summer including: Edinburgh Corn Exchange on Apr.3 as part of the city festival Haddowfest, a large scale London (soon to be announced) outdoor event, Guilfest on July 16."
More dates are due to be announced soon. In the meantime the band continue to work on their new album.
