What's That Song From the Reese's 'Gears' Commercial?

'Excuses,' the Morning Benders
Seemingly fresh from the mind of a very mechanically minded 8-year-old, the jagged ridges of two mechanical Reese's Peanut Butter Cups interlock and gradually mesh as gears. The instrumental opening to the song 'Excuses,' by the Morning Benders, plays as the soundtrack to this marvel of confectionery engineering.
The commercial is consistent with other recent Reese's "back to basics" rebrandings (orchestrated by ad agency Arnold Worldwide), which features large yellow block letters telling a story with the orange candy package color and upbeat pop music in the background.
Residents of Brooklyn, N.Y., by way of Berkeley, Calif., the Morning Benders have steadily been producing independent rock since 2008, when their debut record, 'Talking Through Tin Cans,' was released.
'Excuses' can be found on the Benders' 2010 release 'Big Echo' and, in addition to Reese's, has been used by NBC's dramedy 'Chuck' as well as by Sony India for its 3-D TV adverts.
