Slated for O'Higgins Park in Santiago, the Lolla Chile lineup also boasts a fine and diverse array of acts including the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Flaming Lips, the National, Cold War Kids, Deftones, 30 Seconds to Mars, Fatboy Slim, Cypress Hill, Ben Harper, Sublime with Rome and 311. The full line-up is available at the festival's website.
"We put it together at a record pace as we had four months," Lollapalooza co-founder and Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell said in a statement. "We did not want to come to Chile with a lineup that was anything other than world-class." Farrell and his partners also intend to integrate Chilean talent and say the city was selected because of its "open space and the variety of cultural offerings."
"Our ambition is to plant a very strong seed in Chile," added Farrell, who will also perform with his electronic outfit PerryEtty. "One that will grow over the years, and provide Santiago with an event for the ages."
