Kate Moss 'Engaged' to Kills' Jamie Hince

After a couple of decades of enjoying one of the most illustrious, varied and well-publicised lovelives in celebdom, wedding bells are finally on the horizon for Kate Moss. She reportedly accepted the proposal of boyfriend Jamie Hince on Tuesday night, The Sun reports, after The Kills frontman offered her his hand in bed after lights out.

Hince apparently presented Moss with a vintage 1920s ring after being granted permission to pop the question by the model's parents. The couple then celebrated their engagement with a candlelit dinner at Cecconi's Italian restaurant in Mayfair, London on Wednesday evening.

True to form, the scenester duo are said to be planning a blow-out bash for their 2 July nuptials. "They're going to have the mother of all weddings," a source told the Sun. "It will be a huge party, one of the biggest she has ever thrown -- and she's thrown a few."

The Croydon-born modern icon has been in a relationship with Alison Mosshart's bandmate since being introduced at a gig in 2007. Her previous partners have included, most infamously, Pete Doherty, but also Johnny Depp and Dazed & Confused editor Jefferson Hack, with whom she has a daughter. Lila, now eight years old, will reportedly be bridesmaid at Moss and Hince's wedding celebrations.
