How They Make Sweet Music: as the rhythm section of Talking Heads and as Tom Tom Club

Couple Details: Drummer Frantz met David Byrne at Rhode Island School of Design in the '70s and helped him start a little band called Talking Heads. The group needed a bass player, so Frantz recruited girlfriend Weymouth to play. The couple married in 1977, the same year the Heads' first record, 'Talking Heads: 77,' came out. In between Heads albums, Franz and Weymouth started yet another popular outfit, '80s New Wave dance group Tom Tom Club.
