Best New Artist nominee Florence Welch and country singer Martina McBride will join former Grammy winners Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera and Yolanda Adams to salute the Queen of Soul with collective and solo renditions of Franklin's classic songs.
Franklin, who received Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1994 and Grammy Legend Award in 1991, will not be attending this year's awards ceremony due to her recent health issues, People.com reports. However, her rep guaranteed that the 68-year-old soul singer will be watching with her friends and family in Detroit.
The tribute will be one of the many performances scheduled to take place on Sunday night. In addition to Arcade Fire, Muse, Cee Lo Green and Lady Gaga, Mick Jagger is scheduled to make his debut Grammy performance as part of a tribute to Solomon Burke, who died last year.
The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards will air live on Feb. 13 at 8PM on CBS.
