In a blog on her official website, the singer made a plea to fans, "I have the police involved, so if you know information about the people who are doing this, you can message me, if you'd like to.
"I am asking for you to protect me. I rely on you guys heavily - and transparently - and I need your help. You're the only ones who control whether things stop or spread", she wrote.
Labelling the people behind the leaks as "grim and unworthy characters," Diamandis revealed the leaking of tracks was slowing her progress on the follow-up to last year's 'The Family Jewels' album which she originally hoped would be ready for an October release.
Now however it appears circumstances have forced her to reconsider. She said, "The new album is not going to be out this year. I don't know when it will be out because I don't know when I will finish it."
The Welsh songwriter continued, "It could be one or five years. The more leaks that happen, the slower I go. As you can imagine, the thought of people invading my privacy and listening to half-assed unfinished songs that I write at 3AM on a tour bus does not make me feel too relaxed or creative."

It sucks that nothing is safe or private anymore, time to buy a safe and EAT the combination. She'd better look to her own people first. Sounds like a friend of hanger-on did it. Who else could get close enough to her personal books or recordings?
