Danger Mouse Wins Best Producer at Pre-Telecast Grammys

Danger Mouse won best producer at the Grammys' pre-telecast ceremony, defeating such favourites as popsmith Dr. Luke, who last year produced smash singles for the likes of Katy Perry and Ke$ha, Lady Gaga's producer RedOne and the Smeezingtons, the production trio led by multi-nominee Bruno Mars who produced the smash 'F--- You' by Cee Lo Green, Danger Mouse's partner in Gnarls Barkley.

Though not present to accept his award, the producer also known as Brian Burton won for his work on Broken Bells' self-titled debut album, which he made with the Shins' James Mercer, his Sparklehorse collaboration 'Dark Night of the Soul,' and the Black Keys' 'Brothers,' which already upset Arcade Fire twice tonight by winning Alternative Album of the Year and best group/duo rock vocal performance for 'Tighten Up' as well as best packaging.

Beautiful to the tilt. My family digs it "like a Fish". Remember that line back in the day. I found old photos when you and the crew went camping with Jerry. Funny stuff. Anyway would enjoy hearing from you one way or another. Last I saw of you was Denver with Modest Mouse (Aztlan Theater) I think?
