Fleet Foxes to Headline Green Man Festival

The summer has just moved that little bit closer after it was announced that the gorgeous harmonies of Fleet Foxes are set to headline this year's Green Man festival. The small-scale and extremely family-friendly festival will once again take place in the breathtaking surroundings of the Brecon Beacons in Wales from Aug. 19 to 21.

The booking has proved to be something of a coup for the festival's organisers. A survey of last summer's Green Man attendees revealed that the band most wanted at the festival was indeed the Seattle six-piece. Now the desire to hear 'White Winter Hymnal' with the main stage against the imposing Sugar Loaf Mountain is set to become a reality.

Joining Fleet Foxes will be 11-piece folk band Bellowhead, carnival/rock supergroup the Burns Unit featuring ex-Delgados singer Emma Pollack and Scottish indie fixture Future Pilot AKA, the much-praised Villagers and nouveau jazz combo Polar Bear.

Fleet Foxes are set release their long-awaited second album, 'Helplessness Blues,' in May.
