As reported by Spinner, Cable passed away last June at his mansion in South Wales after a three-day drinking binge to celebrate his 40th birthday. Now Jones has launched a campaign for stronger warnings on bottles in an effort to try and raise awareness about the power of spirits.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Jones explained how Cable was preparing to hit the road with new band Killing For Company. She said, "Stuart was getting ready for a festival. All the guys were getting gig-fit. There are diets that say a vodka is better than half a lager because it is lower in calories. Stuart had a large amount of spirits that night and that took its toll on him."
She added, "Spirits are so strong that people don't realise what they are doing to them."
Jones, who discovered Cable's body on their kitchen floor after he had choked to death on his own vomit, is desperate for others to avoid Cable's fate and learn from the mistakes he made.
She said, "Don't die like Stuart did. If you saw someone drinking poison or bleach you would stop them. People need to be aware that spirits can lead to deaths."

Really??? Come on!!! Know when to stop. If you drink, drink responsibly. It's not the vodka that killed him. He killed himself by not caring enough to know when enough was enough. Gimme a break.
