Instead he believes working with the Raconteurs, the Dead Weather and as a solo artist will be enough to keep him happy.
As previously reported by Spinner, Jack and Meg White called time on the White Stripes earlier this month in order to "to preserve what is beautiful and special about the band."
Now White has revealed he's happy with the remaining musical outlets available to him. He told Q magazine (via DIY), "I won't join another band again. Three's enough for one lifetime. If I can't say it in any of these bands, then I'll say it by myself."
He may not have plans to join another band but when it comes to collaborating with other artists White remains keen, having recently recorded a track with Jay-Z.
While there are no plans to release that song, White fans will soon be able to hear his guest appearance on Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi's album 'Rome,' which is released on May 16 in the UK and a day after in the US.
