They're propped up by a supporting cast including big names like Rihanna, Plan B, Duran Duran and Manic Street Preachers, according to the official V Festival website.
Other acts on the bill include Ellie Goulding, Mark Ronson, Glasvegas and Primal Scream, who will be performing their 'Screamadelica' album in full.
Pendulum, Razorlight, the Courteeners, Scouting for Girls, Tinie Tempah, Kele, Hurts and Ocean Colour Scene also fill out the bill, amongst many other bands, with more names still due to be announced.
The festival takes place the weekend of Aug. 20 and 21 over the two sites of Weston Park and Hylands Park in Staffordshire and Chelmsford.
Eminem is due to play Weston Park on Aug. 20 and Arctic Monkeys on Aug. 21, with the reverse scheduled for the Hylands Park shindig.
Last year's V Festival line-up was headed by Kasabian and Kings of Leon, as previously reported by Spinner.
Tickets for the 2011 festival will go on sale at 9AM on March 4.
