In His Words: "All the way through high school, I was always playing in bands with friends on the weekends. We just always played in bands, practiced in garages and played local shows at places around town. Earlier than that, my family used to do a lot of road trips up and down the east coast of Australia, and they would always play music in the car, like the Beach Boys and Bob Dylan. I just remember as a kid always being fascinated by these people. And we drive 10 to 12 hours at a time, huge stretches, all day sometimes. Music was the only kind of entertainment, and I guess I've always been fascinated by people like that -- how they sung, how they made music.
