Highlight: "When we started writing the song, the first word out of my mouth was 'automatic.' That word sort of set the tone," Jim Suptic of the Get Up Kids tells Spinner. "The song is about the indifference I see all around me. We have become a society of zombies caring more about what E! News has to say about Justin Bieber's hair than actual important issues. No offense to Justin -- if it wasn't him it would be someone else. The powers that be like to keep us stupid and entertained. I guess it's easier to control us that way."
