Jamie Cullum and Sophie Dahl Welcome Baby Daughter

Jazz-pop singer Jamie Cullum and his wife, former model Sophie Dahl, welcomed a daughter on March 2.

The first-time parents are brimming with excitement over their new bundle of joy. "Their daughter Lyra was born on March the second. They are over the moon," a spokesperson for the couple said in a statement.

Dahl, who is the granddaughter of children's author Roald Dahl, gave birth at Portland Street Hospital in London where other famous moms, including Victoria Beckham and Claudia Schiffer, had their children, according to the UK's Daily Mirror.

Cullum and Dahl met at a charity event in 2007, and despite a media frenzy about the height difference between the 5'11" Dahl and 5'4" Cullum, the two tied the knot in a secret wedding in January 2010 after a 10-month engagement.

While Cullum has kept most of his love life under the radar, Dahl had a few high-profile boyfriends. She once dated actor Benicio Del Toro and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger. She also was rumored to have had an affair with model James Gooding, thus breaking up his relationship with pop singer Kylie Minogue.
