According to the Los Angeles Times, the concert to promote 'Wasting Light,' which drops April 12, will be presented immediately after screenings of the new documentary, 'Foo Fighters: Back and Forth.' The feature-length film was directed by James Moll, who earned an Oscar in 1999 for 'The Last Days.'
Fans can locate participating theaters here. Moll's film, which traces the band recording its seventh album last year in Grohl's garage studio, will also air April 8 on VH1, VH1 Classic and Palladia.
'Wasting Light' was produced by Butch Vig, who first worked with Grohl on Nirvana's 1991 breakthrough 'Nevermind.' The album also counts a guest appearance by former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, who also makes an appearance in 'Back and Forth'.
