Jewel's Beatles Love Inspires Upcoming Children's Album -- Exclusive Video

Alaskan folk icon and soon-to-be-mother Jewel didn't perform at 2011's SXSW festival but still managed to turns heads all around Austin. Spinner sat down with the glowing singer-songwriter to discuss her new Beatles-inspired children's project and the advice she has for up-and-coming artists.

"I wrote 15 songs in five days, and I based them off of some of my favorite songs like 'I Am the Walrus' or 'Rocky Raccoon,'" she tells Spinner. "I thought it was something that adults would like, but also would really appeal to children because it's very story-telling driven, and very creative and whimsical."
