The band -- formed by Liam Gallagher and the remaining members of Oasis after Noel Gallagher quit -- have arranged for the special event to be held on Sunday, April 3, at the London O2 Academy Brixton and are promising a very special bill of some of Britrock's brightest stars.
Joining the line-up will be former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft, the Coral, Blur guitarist Graham Coxon, Primal Scream and Paul Weller.
A source told The Sun newspaper of Liam Gallagher's motivation behind the gig. "Liam has been shocked by the footage of the devastation in Japan. Oasis were, and still are, hugely popular out there. The band have always been treated like kings so he wants to do his bit."
Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 25 at 9AM GMT and are limited to four per applicant. Full details can be found at the Beady Eye website.
