If by Yes Team With Joseph Gordon-Levitt for 'You Feel Right' Video -- Premiere

If by Yes are a great example of quality conquering distance. In 2002, New York songwriter Petra Haden and Yuka Honda, Cibo Matto co-founder and Los Angeles resident, began a jazz-infused indie-pop collaboration that would eventually rack up plenty of frequent-flier miles before finalizing their new debut album, 'Salt on Sea Glass.'

Now the group has released a video for the song 'You Feel Right,' which features childlike animation coupled with 'E.T.'-like fingers and a slew of "da da da's" that give the video a sunny-day vibe. A lounge groove moves the song forward while a Rhodes piano and electric bass round out the bottom end.

"Originally, the song was about romantic and forbidden love," Honda tells Spinner. "After Cornelius [aka bassist, keyboardist and programmer Keigo Oyamada] remixed it and we made a video and performed these songs a few times, it's turning into something brighter, purer, like a baby phoenix just got re-born from ashes of fire."

On top of the cool new clip, If by Yes have the support of friends in high places. The video was filmed in Silverlake by friend and 'Inception' star, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and in Burbank by Sophie Clay. 'Salt on Sea Glass' is out now via Sean Lennon's Chimera Music imprint.
