Fred Armisen Offers Up a Stylish Guitar Lesson -- Video

Fred Armisen may have gotten a new legion of fans after starring in IFC's 'Portlandia' with former Sleater-Kinney and current Wild Flag member Carrie Brownstein, but his music cred goes way beyond that. Prior to becoming a 'Saturday Night Live' cast member, Armisen played drums for the punk band Trenchmouth and even hit the skins on a few tracks for Les Savy Fav's 2007 LP 'Let's Stay Friends.'

Now, in an exclusive "You've Got" video for AOL, Armisen is offering up some tips for would-be guitarists. But rather than teach chord changes, the funnyman has some other pointers, such as how to look good while tuning your guitar and how to interact with an audience (His rendition of the traditional folk song 'Greensleeves' will not help any novice axemen either).
