Death Cab for Cutie Stream Live, One-Take Video for 'You Are a Tourist'

Playing a live show is often compared to performing without a net in that there are no do-overs. Death Cab for Cutie are taking that lack of security one step further on Tuesday, April 5 when they make history by broadcasting a live, scripted, one-take music video for 'You Are a Tourist' on the Internet.

"Trying to describe the treatment is like trying to describe a dream you had two weeks ago," frontman Ben Gibbard said in a behind-the-scenes look at the video posted on Bing's Facebook page. "It is so esoteric and abstract. It'd be like trying ask a 5-year-old kid to explain their trip to Disneyland. It's sensory overload."

Leading up to the event, the band seems fairly relaxed, saying they just hope nobody gets hurt. The video will be shot at 7PM ET and you can watch the stream below. 'You Are a Tourist' is the first single off the band's latest album, 'Codes and Keys,' which will hit stores on May 31.
