The Bees to Join Fleet Foxes and Villagers at Eden Sessions

This summer's Eden Sessions at the Eden Project in Cornwall are to take an exceptionally mellow groove after it was announced that the Bees -- the Isle of Wight's very own top purveyors of psychedelia and country -- are to join Fleet Foxes and Villagers on July 1.

Much like the other shows on this year's bill -- the Flaming Lips and Primal Scream will be calling in too -- this line-up will prove particularly tempting, not least because of the unique setting of the venue.

Located near St Austell, The Eden Project boasts the world's largest greenhouse which contains plants from all over the world. The complex also has two gigantic domes that house plant species from every corner of the planet.

The Mercury-nominated Bees have proved to be a popular festival draw while Fleet Foxes are gearing up to release their second album, 'Helplessness Blues,' on May 3.

The Eden Sessions are now in their 10th year. Previous performers have included Oasis, PJ Harvey, Muse, Kasabian and Snow Patrol amongst others.
