Coldplay Fans 'Least Likely to Have Sex on a First Date'

Coldplay might sing of wanting to 'Talk' or 'Fix You,' but it seems their sensitive sensibilities aren't giving their fans much luck when it comes to nights of spontaneous passion. A survey conducted by a new dating website seeking to match partners based on their taste in music has revealed the band's fans are the least likely to have sex on a first date.

At the opposite end of the spectrum Nirvana fans can't seem to keep their hands to themselves.

Conducted by Tastebuds.fm, users were asked how far they would go on a first date. Given three options, 'I'd only meet up for a chat,' 'Perhaps a kiss' and 'All the way, if there was chemistry,' their answers were then cross-checked with their musical preferences.

The results show that behind Coldplay, fans of Adele, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry won't be experiencing any first-date fireworks, while Kings of Leon fans can forget about sex on fire at the end of a first date.

On the flip side Nirvana fans, if the mood was right, would happily dive straight into a first-night liaison, as would followers of Metallica, Linkin Park, Kanye West and Gorillaz.
