AWOLNATION Delight Fans With 'Wild,' Punk-Influenced Shows -- Exclusive Video

"It's my life's work wrapped into one," AWOLNATION mastermind Aaron Bruno tells Spinner of his dynamic indie-rock band's new album. "I've been in a couple of other bands, leading up to this ... I was doing a bunch of songs, trying to write for pop artists, trying to make money to pay the rent. It wasn't fulfilling my soul in any way at all." Just in time, the 'Megalithic Symphony' LP and its surprise radio hit single 'Sail' sent AWOLNATION to spiritual satisfaction.

"I'm just happy to have the opportunity to be able to release music at all and have people get it for free or buy it, either way, it's all good with me," Bruno continues.

That said, you'll have to catch the band on its upcoming tour to truly go AWOL. "I came up in the hardcore and punk scene. I really try to bring that energy to our set," Bruno explains. "So far, the show's we've played have been wild."
