Spinner recently had a chance to chat with the up-and-coming emcee about his newest album 'I Hope They Hear Me Vol. 2' and the new New Orleans.
"It's not just No Limit and Cash Money like it was back in the day. That's what we're known for, and they're legends," Dee tells Spinner. "But now you have myself, Dee-1, Currency, Jay Electronica -- people who show a different side of New Orleans. I'm just representing for the people who are really on a mission in life."
