Raphael Saadiq Gives a Behind-the-Scenes Look at 'Stone Rollin'' -- Exclusive Video

Mixing soul and classic rock, guitar-toting singer Raphael Saadiq is the new face of a musical revival, exuding the stage presence of Sam Cooke and the blues chops of B.B. King.

"Stone Rollin' has that dirty, dirty, dirty, more of like a Chicago Blues, Rolling Stones dirty record. It's the bluesiest joint on my album" Saadiq tells Spinner.

A behind-the-scenes look at Saadiq's 'Stone Rollin'' shows the singer in his finest digs and signature tortoise-shell glasses. Director Dori Oskowitz's video also showcases Saadiq's backing band playing to an "all-women social club" while one adventurous "bombshell" gets the party started.

Saadiq's 'Stone Rollin'' album will be available on May 10 via Columbia records and is sure to invoke that Motown and '60s rock vibe that's been missing from modern pop.
