Bon Iver Reveal Second Album Tracklisting

Justin Vernon has announced the follow-up to Bon Iver's acclaimed 2009 debut album 'For Emma, For ever Ago' is to be self-titled and released in June.

Most of the 10 tracks on the new record seem to take their titles from place names, perhaps reflecting the adventures Vernon has experienced since emerging from Wisconsin. These include guesting on Kanye West's current album and performing live with the hip hop star.

Unlike his debut the album wasn't recorded in a backwoods cabin-- according to statement released it was "recorded and mixed at April Base Studios, a remodeled veterinarian's clinic located in rural Fall Creek, Wisconsim."

Quoted by Uncut magazine, Vernon describes the album closer as his favourite track. "It's definitely the part where you pick up your joint and re-light it," he says.

'Bon Iver' is out June 20 on 4AD Records. The group will tour later this year as a nine-piece band.
