Sponsored by Cartier, the event takes place May 10 and begins in the MoMA's Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, John Legend, M.I.A., Estelle and Chrisette Michele have all performed at the party in the past. All proceeds raised from the high-brow event -- honoring several art collectors and philanthropists -- will go towards the MoMA's general operating fund, which supports the museum's educational programs and exhibitions.
Kanye better wear his fanciest couture suit because tickets don't come cheap, with a table for 10 starting at $25,000 and up. Tickets for the Kanye after-party performance alone start at $150.
The 'Power' emcee has been on a performance streak since releasing his stellar fifth studio album, 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,' last November. Over the weekend, he received unanimous positive reviews of his headlining set at the 2011 Coachella Music & Arts Festival, which he dedicated to his late mother Donda West.
For more information and to purchase tickets to see Kanye perform at MoMA's Party in the Garden head to the MoMA website.
