Hear New Songs From the Rolling Stone 'Choose the Cover' Contest Finalists

As Spinner reported last week, the four unsigned bands in the running to grace the cover of Rolling Stone magazine are rock outfits Empires, Fictionist and the Sheepdogs and indie-pop solo artist Lelia Broussard.

Round four of the contest will see two of the remaining bands play the summer music festival Bonnaroo. The winner will be announced Aug. 2 on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,' and will be awarded a recording contract with Atlantic.

In recent weeks, the remaining artists have worked with different producers to record several brand new tracks. Lelia Broussard's 'Turn Me On' employed the mastery of Espionage (Beyonce, Train and Chris Brown) while Chicago rockers Empires worked with Machine (Fall Out Boy and Gym Class Heroes). Fictionist teamed up with David Bendeth (Paramore and Breaking Benjamin) and the Sheepdogs rolled with Fountains of Wayne songwriter Adam Schlesinger.
