New York-based indie quintet Freelance Whales are on the road this spring with Foals and the Naked and Famous for a North American tour. The band has been gracious enough to document their travels for Spinner in a series of video and written Road Reports. There are few words that can adequately describe the feelings that come along with playing one of the most beloved festivals in America. Proud and humbled; frantic and inspired. The atmosphere is electric with anticipation and surging with positivity. Always determined to rise to the occasion, we approached our first Coachella with the exuberance of a rookie season or a Freshman year.
