The gig will mark the first time since July 2008 this lineup has played live together. The band will join Alice Cooper, Hole, Bad Religion, Panic! at the Disco, Alter Bridge and Danzig, along with roughly 50 other acts.
Van Halen are also reportedly working on a new studio album with Roth and producer John Shanks (Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac). The full-length would be the band's first since 1998's 'Van Halen III,' which featured Extreme singer Gary Cherone, and the first with Roth since 1984's '1984.'
Soundwave kicks off Sept. 24 in Brisbane and wraps Oct. 3 in Perth.
