In Her Words: "'House' is about being away and missing someone. It's the first song I've recorded with a full band line up; all the demos I did before signing to Labrador were just piano and vocals. Philip of the Mary Onettes and Det Vackra Livet produced it and most of the recordings were done in his studio in Gothenburg. Perhaps we did too many takes there, because I wasn't completely happy about my vocals there. I usually prefer to just make a couple of takes, it somehow seems to come out more genuine that way. So the week after I later re-recorded the vocals quickly at Summersound Studios in Stockholm and everything just fell into place." -- Singer-songwriter Amanda Mair
