Bon Iver Premiere New Track, 'Calgary'

As we turn the corner on the spring season, we can already bypass summer and get a taste of the chilly, wintry folk from Bon Iver's self-titled upcoming record -- set for release June 21 via Jagjaguwar. 'Calgary' showcases the chamber vocals characteristic of past Bon Iver releases, combined with sublime synth pads and lo-fi distorted guitars.

It can reasonably be assumed that with the help of Kanye West, Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon has been propelled into popular culture. Holding down several guest spots on the famous emcee's latest album, 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,' Vernon remains one of West's favorite singers. The Wisconsin native has quite the busy schedule lately, including fronting indie supergroup Gayngs and handling singing duties for the Volcano Choir.
