On top of those extras, a real treat for any diehard fans is the audio, which was remastered by the same team at Abbey Road that reworked the Beatles' catalog. To prove how great a job they did, you can now listen to the new version of McCartney's classic, 'Maybe I'm Amazed.'

Paul could be such a perfectionist in the studio, but his first album feels homespun, relaxed, experimental, and of course chock full of perfect pop. It's a blueprint for so many indie albums. Even when the connection is not all that obvious, McCartney's intimate, ramshackle feel showed popsters influenced by punk and new wave that you can sound sweet AND sparse and make it work. Great stuff.
