Patrick Wolf Enjoys Home Comforts in 'House' Video

Patrick Wolf has been cutting a happier figure of late, with all the tracks thus far revealed from his forthcoming album 'Lupercalia' demonstrating a new-found contentment with life.

So it continues with new single 'House,' which maintains the more commercial sound of recent singles 'Time of My Life' and 'The City.'

The video elaborates on the lyrical themes of contentment in a home with a lover, as plants take over his "paradise garden."

It sees Wolf sharing his house with a menagerie of creatures, including a toucan that stands guard as he does his ironing and a monkey that watches him play piano.

The video was filmed in April, in Los Angeles and was directed by Andy Bruntel, who has also created videos for Modest Mouse, No Age and Liars. The fifth album 'Lupercalia' is due to drop in June.
