Bill Maher is known for his controversial comedy that leaves no religious or political group safe from his sharp tongue. Even so, the host of HBO's 'Real Time With Bill Maher' has a soft spot for '90s rap group Kid N' Play led by the high-top fade sporting Christopher 'Kid' Reid. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Maher addressed the "heavy hip-hop beat" that introduces his show: "That was written by one of my very best friends, the person who, in all those years when I was going to Freaknik, was my main drinking partner, Christopher 'Kid' Reid from Kid N' Play. He definitely still has his hip-hop chops, and I asked him to write the theme song, and I still love it..."
