Keith Richards Reports Disappointment and Pride Over Daughter's Drug Bust

Theodora Richards nevertheless managed to earn her father's disapproval when she was recently arrested in New York City. "My daughter did get popped for, like, a minuscule amount of marijuana, so I told her to give up being arrested, and she agreed with me," the Rolling Stones guitarist told the Telegraph (via Contactmusic). "I just said, 'Stop that -- it's no fun' and she said, 'You're right'."
The 26-year-old model was picked up by cops in March after being spotted writing graffiti on a building and a subsequent search by police found cannabis and another drug in her possession.
Charges were dropped a month later and she was made to perform two days of community service.
The veteran rocker, who has been charged for possessing marijuana, speed and heroin numerous times during the 1960s and '70s, did have some words of fatherly pride for Theodora, praising her conduct during the bust.
"She didn't let on who her parents were," Richards reported. "She spent a night in the tank and kept schtum [quiet], and I said, 'That's the way to handle it.'"
