Jeff Bridges Reveals Badass Cover Art for Upcoming Solo Album

If you're anything like us, you've been waiting to hear Jeff Bridges' upcoming self-titled solo album ever since he announced it. The Oscar-winning 'Crazy Heart' star worked with T Bone Burnett on the LP, which is due out Aug. 16 via Blue Note.

Well, we don't have any music to share just yet, but our colleagues at The Boot exclusively revealed the cover art to the record. As you can see below, Bridges looks like he's fully adopted the brooding, badass Americana rocker image, with his shadowy pose and stunning Gretsch guitar.

"Music, for me, is like a weed that just keeps bringing up no matter how thick the concrete is," Bridges says in a press kit for the album. "It just makes its way toward the light. I've been doing music since I was a young teen, and man I'm really digging the way the weed has popped through this concrete."
