Kasabian Unveil Details of New Album 'Velociraptor!'

Kasabian have announced that their new album will be called 'Velociraptor!' The band have been working on the LP for the last 18 months and it finally hits the shops on Sept. 19.

Two tracks written by band guitarist Serge Pizzorno -- 'Days Are Forgotten' and 'Re-wired' -- are already being tipped as potential singles. The album is the follow-up to the band's 2009 LP 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum,' which was a No. 1 album in the UK.

'Switchblade Smiles' has also been released as a download on the band's official website, allowing fans to make up their own minds.

The band also plays a warm-up date on Wednesday, June 8, at the O2 Apollo Manchester ahead of their first festival appearances this year. Kasabian will then hit Rockness in Scotland on Friday, June 10, followed by the Isle of Wight on Sunday 12 June.
